    Within policy
Why flagged

A manual discount of 30% was applied to this order. Your policy allows manual discounts up to 10%.

A mock-up built from sample data to show the idea. It is not a screenshot of a real merchant’s store.

Discounts that slip past your rules

Shopify makes it easy to run discounts. It is much harder to notice when an order was discounted in a way you did not intend.

Codes that were never meant to stay live

An old or shared discount code keeps working after the campaign is over, and nobody notices.

Manual discounts above your limit

Staff apply a custom discount on an order. The amount is bigger than you would have approved.

Automatic discounts stacking

Several automatic discounts apply to the same order and the final price ends up lower than planned.

Prices that do not add up

The amount paid is lower than the catalog price and no approved discount explains the difference.

How Price Policy Guard works

Three steps. Nothing in your store is changed at any point.

  1. Write your discount policy

Choose which discount codes are approved, whether automatic discounts are expected, and the largest manual discount you accept.

  2. New orders are checked

As new orders come in, the app reads the order and product prices and compares what was paid with what your policy allows.

  3. You review what looks wrong

Orders that do not match are listed with a plain-language “Why flagged” explanation. You decide what, if anything, to do.

What you get

See what customers really paid

Compare the price paid after discounts with the catalog price for each order line.

Your rules, not ours

Approved codes, automatic discounts and a manual discount limit are set by you in the app’s settings.

Clear “Why flagged” reasons

Every flagged order explains in plain words which part of your policy it did not match.

A dashboard of recent orders

Review flagged orders and orders needing a look in one place, covering the last 90 days of checked orders.

Optional email alerts

Turn on an alert to get an email when a new order is flagged. Leave it off if you prefer to check the dashboard.

Read-only by design

It asks Shopify for read access only. It cannot edit orders, change prices or alter discounts.

Frequently asked questions

Does it change anything in my Shopify store?

No. Price Policy Guard is read-only. It reads order and product price information and shows you results. It cannot edit orders, prices or discounts.

Will it block or cancel discounts automatically?

No. It flags orders for your review. What you do about a flagged order is your decision.

Does it recover money I lost to unexpected discounts?

No. It helps you notice differences sooner, so you can fix the cause and decide how to handle the order. We do not promise any amount of savings.

What data does it use?

Order and product price and discount information from Shopify. It does not ask for customer names, email addresses, phone numbers or shipping addresses. See the app privacy policy for details.

Does it check my past orders?

No. It checks new orders from the time it is installed. Past orders are not imported.

When can I install it?

The app has not been released on the Shopify App Store yet. Join the early-access list and we will email you about the launch.

What happens to my data if I uninstall?
